    Default Tour Assistance

    Good Day everyone

Let me start off by saying that I appreciate all the advise that is given on this community and therefor i would like to ask for some advise!!!
We use to tour some over the border countries in the likes of Mozambique,Swaziland and Bots and Namibia!
Thus far Namibia and Botswana was my Highlight,Myself and my wife would like to do something similar this year, but we have never done the planning!
We normally fell in with a group and everything was already planned beforehand! And I dont know where to begin!

I was thinking of staying the first night at Zeerust then start early morning through Botswana border! (Please have anyone done a similar trip) for some tips or route plans)?
Thinking driving through Bots straight to Namibia Border or Maybe go through Kgalagadi through to Mata Mata but I have no clue what to prepare for in kgalagadi?

Our main goal is south namibia as we previously have done the north!

Here is what we have to work with!!!

    1. We do have a 4x4 (Jimny) + 1 spare tyre
    2. We have a roof rack with 2 x Jerry cans
3.We only have a 45L ROMER cooler might be good for meat for 2 days(With Dry ice block and normal ice)
4.We have Tyre repair kit but only 35L air pump 12v
    5. We have 20L water
    6.We have a Malamoo xtra 3 tent
7.We have in car navigation (Tom Tom) But have T4A Guidline app
    8. Good Vibes and good spirit

    What we dont have!!!

    1.We dont have a fridge
2.We dont have solar power or extra battery
3.We dont have awnings or Gazebos
    4.We dont have negativity

Please I know there is some individuals that loves planning! I will do a trip video or report I just need this assistance

    Thank You much appreciated

You can think of the Kgalagadi like a very dry Kruger. The San parks set up is very similar in many ways. The three main camps each have a shop and you can camp or chalets.

If you want to chat, I have sent you a pm
Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

Thank You @stranger we will only be camping as that is what our adventure is based on being in the wild
I heard about the kgalagadi being dry,and also about some dune riding and such and then also some places you need to be self sufficient
    Which we are limited on!

Maybe the main camps is more an option!

We just need to work in 2 nights before we can cross the border to namibia

So much planning goes into tours one doesnt always know the technicalities

No problem, one night at Twee Riverien and one night Mata Mata and you will be sorted. Plenty of opportunity for supplies within the park and as you go out of Mata Mata there is a good farm stall too.
