    Default Amarok Auto Electrical "glitches"

Need a bit of guidance here...

This morning as I pull out of the garage, the bakkie seemed to momentarily cut out and then restart... almost like someone flicked a light switch off and then on again... weird.

But then as I drove around the corner, the whole dashboard seemed to turn off... ABS and TC lights came on, then nothing for about a second, then back on again... concerning.

This ABS/TC light issue then happened briefly (flickered) 2 more times on the drive into town...

A previous thread makes mention of a dirty ABS sensor... could this be the issue? Just concerned about the dash lights too.

My dog chewed on the wires. Had the same effect. It could be a rat or mouse as well

Nope, it is rodent season. Check for rodents inside the engine compartment, it will be very obvious: rat poo and bite marks on wires and pipes.

    Can be sooo many things.
    bad earth
    bad connection atbthe battery
    fuses connector at the battery
    ignition switch
    body control module
    etc etc.
very hard to diagnose those type of things but looks like a main power supply gets interrupted.
It basically reset the ignition as if you have turned it off and on.

Thanks... was a shot in the dark
Need to get underneath and just double check everything... Thought I heard a knock as I pulled out the garage (been storing stuff under the car) so might have loosened something.
