    Default VW Amarok canyon edition

Looking forward to this one. Never really liked the extreme's styling bar. Interesting to see if they are going to make the rear wheel arches black too, cant see how only having the fronts in black and the rear in body colour can look good .

Not really a comment on the Canyon, but sheesh - R800k for a bakkie! I'm not sure how people keep up with the price of new vehicles but I suppose that is where 72 month loans and 40 % residual values come in.
    Current: Touareg V6 TDi
Ex: Discovery 4 V8 - Sold at 149 000 km. Awesome vehicle, but a bottomless pit.
Ex: Fortuner D4D - Best vehicle I've owned Sold at 267 000 km.
    Ex: Hilux 2.7i - sold at 241 000 km.
    Ex: Hilux D4D - sold at 330 000 km.

Absolutely, but I guess since you have to pay R207,100 for a Up or R262,000 for a Polo Vivo, they can ask these prices for bakkies. Not sure how I am going to be able to buy a vehicle ever again.

First stop for me would be a car wrap shop and do the rears. Just looks odd. I can see what they went for but it does not work so well. Maybe in real life.

There are cheaper options from our friends from the east.

Looks like theyve used all the leftover spares in the bin to build this ugly duckling...
