    Default Two Rivers, Botswana

Hi, I have managed to get a campsite at Two Rivers, Botswana as Rooiputs and Polentswa were fully booked for my dates. Please does anyone have information or photos of the camp and particularly site no. 1. Also how does one access the SA side of the Kgalagadi? Many thanks.

Check in again later and I will put up some pics for you. Just got back from that area, but busy catching up at work right now.
Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

Anyone inside the park is allowed to travel on SA and Botswana side, provided you exit through the same side (otherwise you need a passport and border checks apply).

    Hi Sandya.

Not pictures of No1, but stand 4, along with a picture of the ablution block. From my visit there, the ablution block was OK, in need of a bit of a scrub and some maintenance, but useable. No interior lights if my memory is correct.

I thought it was a quieter alterative to Twee Rivieren.

As Tadek said, to access the SA side of the park, just drive back to the main building and into the park as normal.

Here are some photos of campsite no.1, from April last year.

On 2 of the nights, during the SA school holidays we were the only people camping there, Twee Rivieren was full.

The ablutions are not great, I don't think there was hot water.

The only problem is LOTS of squirrel holes so one needs to be a bit careful where you drive.

You are allowed to use the restaurant at Twee Rivieren in the evening and come back to the campsite after dark. (We did not actually do it)

We would definitely use Two Rivers again.

Sorry it late, but my 2c.

We came through Bots via Bray and entered KTP through Two Rivers entrance on the Bots side. We did no immigration control and left via the same gate. Exited Bots at McCarthys rest

Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

    Absolutely.
Also lots of small animals came visiting in contrast to TRivieren.

Two Rivers is a DWNP site so you need to book via Bots and not Sanparks.

I think you are looking around 30 Pula PPPN plus 120 Pula park fees plus 50 Per vehicle. This if SADC.

You will need to check with DWNP for latest prices.

It is actually P4/day for vehicle,
    Park entry P20/p/day,
    Camping P30/p/day.
    So 2 people are P104/day.
