    Default Quality Bech/Pedestal drills

Where can one get a quality bench drill?
Not the average rubbish (sold by most places) drill where the chuck can be moved sideways by hand.

Gumtree and Junkmail etc would be a good place to start, but the usual warnings apply about scammers.
Also second hand tool places like Marriott Machinery.

I think we would need more info than just that.Do you need a ten mm chuck or 13 or 16mm chuck or morse taper. Most of these drill machines are generic and have virtually the same design.

Most of the usual places you will find only the poor(er) quality Chinese stuff. If it is precision you are after, the price increases significantly.
What can help is to buy the run of the mill one and have the tolerances sorted by an engineering company.

...but that would probably cost just about as much as buying a good quality second-hand machine. Be less time-intensive though.
