    Went on holiday to Gauteng last week.

    Second battery died and picked up a puncture. Other than that, 11l/100km fully loaded at a hasty pace is not too bad. (Jhb to Bloem at 120 cruise control yielded 10)

    This is the first car I ever owned that I dont feel the need to pack some tools.

    Yes, Id like a cayenne, but Im not getting rid of this van anytime soon.

    R1400 later for a recon (rectifier, regulator and brushes) and the beast lives again.

    Not bad considering the touareg regulator replacement was close to R1000 as well.

    The Pajero is going in for the Takata airbag recall tomorrow.

    This involves dash removal for the passenger airbag.

    I have sent them a mail entailing all my dash rattle fixes and extra wiring for various stuff.

    Should I be worried that it comes back as a rattle box? And will all my extras still be working?

    I hate it when other people work on my vehicles. They ALWAYS stuff up something.
