In my caravan I have a 100W solar panel and a 12V discover agm 105 Ah battery ; what kind of inverter do I need to buy to make use of my 220V laptop ? (if I am in a site or area where there is no 220V); your comments are most appreciated ; Regards.

Your laptop pulls 90W at peak.

So Charlie's option is quite decent.

Without a doubt the best option.

If you are a bit scared you can even get a dedicated OEM 12V PSU for many laptops.

I operate one for my ACER which I use for a diagnostics computer on cars.

I used 2 of these and they don't seem to last very long. First the 12V portion will pack up and later the 220V. Also not charging a Dell laptop.

This version a lot more reliable and works even on a Dell.

Here is a computor shop in Willem Botha Drive in Centurion. I asked them to order it for me. I am sure other places can also order. They are not normally available if one looks on line but the owner told me he can get it when I asked for someone else on the forum a few months ago.
