    Morning,

We did it the 3rd of March in a Triton 4x4 and a Steed 4X4 and it was not to difficult, we took it slow though as its does become very bumpy.
We also assisted a gent in a Jeep Renegade thru a deep section but that was due to the bumper being to low.(had to pack some rocks)
If I remember correctly the deepest section that the Jeep had issues was just after the top of the pass coming from Magalies side.
If you want a bit of a challenge there is a nice climb by the cave on the right hand side, had the MIL screaming a bit.

The area is very green and its was very spectacular.

    Hope this helps.

Friend of mine drove it on Sunday.

He used the opportunity to try out his newly acquired Triton and measured it against our previous trip done Dec 2017 when they used a Rav4.
He said still not suitable for Sedan's and questioned his own sanity to previously use the Rav.

If you have time, decent clearance (4x4 not a must) it should make a lekker day-outing and the views are definitely worth it.

Refer to the following thread, post 53 for my 2017 write-up: https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum...t=#post3771838

I did the pass this weekend,

It was most certainly not difficult. However I would say it is a grade 2 with some grades 3s (if you take the more difficult line).

Not for sedans, only high ground clearance vehicles. Was very washed away and rocky. It will be great fun if the water erosion continuous for a few more months.
