    Default Iron Man 4x4

    Good day
My friend who has 4 tyre franchise shops have been approached by Iron Man 4x4 to open a franchise workshop/shop. He is not so informed regarding 4x4 accessories brand names. And I am not to familiar with them as well.

Any experience with their vehicle accessories? They do have an impressive range.

    Thank you in advance.

They are one (if not the) of the biggest suppliers of 4x4 products in Aus.

He should seriously consider the offer.

Australia is the birthplace for a lot of 4x4 accessories and Ironman is one of them. The product range is extensive catering from mild to wild (overlander to mudpit pilots).

Where are your friend's stores located and what is his customer base? How many AT's or MT's does he sell? If his stores are located in the right areas he could have a good opportunity with the Ironman range.

I would seriously consider it. It is a well developed brand with a broad product range.

I have not used them, but when I was looking for a winch, they were one of my best options. I ended up not going with them, purely because they did not have a good dealer network around midrand, and would not sell directly.

So my takeaway. They seem to be pretty loyal to their dealers as they would not sell directly.
They are easy to find on the web, so must spend something on advertising.

It is probably a good opportunity, but I have no experience of the brand. Would be good to know what sort of stock and spares they carry. Last time I spoke to a leading winch supplier in Dbn, he said that Warn were not carrying much spares stock anymore, which could leave you stranded. If these guys have a few solenoids and such in stock (they seem to give more issues than anything else) then they are probably worth a bash.

And they get good marketing exposure via a well known outdoor/4x4 magazine
