Burger King and McD can't come close in terms of taste.
I remember there being a road house between Boksburg north and Benoni. We used to live in Benoni and go to the Copper Kettle and on the way back stopped at the roadhouse. This was back in the seventies and no idea if either still exist!

A good Burger can be a very simple thing.

We have a Porra tannie with a fast food joint not far from my work.

Went there this afternoon and just ordered a Chicken Burger. Standard.

What I got was a very nice, big, toasted sesame bun. Lettuce, Tomato, Fried Onion, pan fried Chicken fillets with only some Chicken Spice and some Mayo. Simply delicious. Yours for R35 with some few chippies on the side. Total came to R42 with a small 300ml bottle of Coke.

MCD's for chips and burger king for fierce whopper!
But generally will not eat at these based on the fact that it is just plain bad! If I had to choose between the two... I wouldn't be able to! They are the same to me and ill take whatever is convenient.

Steers is still a 100% beef burger and you can taste the difference! King steer burger never disappoints!

Careful Boet, don't you remember the dude in this thread who tuned us we are dof and that eating take aways is stupid and we are poisoning ourselves and we are going to die like in two days after chowing a King Steer job. Focus man dammit!

He really scared me with his preaching, for about 2 seconds, after which I thought "what kind Bru?"

I might also focus on some proper burgers for later when home.

One could argue the size of the portions between Burger King and other burgers but for my taste, they destroy a great tasting pattie with too much mayo and it tastes too acidic for my liking.

I like mayo in a potato salad or a on a toasted chin mayo Sarmie. Thatís my mayo limit.

As stated before, to me the King Steer is king!!
