    Hi Spyker
Travelled this road in Dec'18. Giriyondo to Massingir was the usual gravel/corrugations, not too serious. Massingir to Chokwe was also fine with the occasional pothole.
However...Chokwe to Macia, where you join up to the EN1 again, is shocking and frankly dangerous!! (Que Merda as they say in the local lingo) Stopped to assist a saffer party of three vehicles from Tzaneen, one which was hit head on by an oncoming local taxi, but that is another story altogether It was December and a very busy time, but just be careful on that stretch, as it is very badly potholed.
Once on the EN1, all good again. No police issues at all.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

That sounds about right +_depending on road conditions...a stopover at the Dam is recommended though.
