    Ek ry 'n einde 2010 (2011 op stelsel) model 120kw. Nou 230k km op die klok... Nog geen regtige probleme om van te praat nie... Starter op 155k km... Kon seker die oue net geservice het maar agent het vir nuwe betaal... EGR valve se spring binne in het gebreek maar nie 'n groot storie nie. Kon seker egr delete doen...

    Verder niks stories nie, hy ry net... Nie meer so lig op diesel nie want ek ry baie groter bande en susp gelig... maar pla my nie te veel nie... kry nog onder 10l/100km gemiddeld oor alle gebruik...

    Kyk vir normale goed en toestand, geen spesifieke probleme op amarok om voor op die uitkyk te wees waarvan ek weet nie.

    Injectors en pomp nog nie 'n issue waarvan ek gehoor het nie. Hier en daar 'n enkel injector... Myne lees nog baie goed in spec...

    Their most common failure is probably right hand door locks dying.

    That's excellent news.

    Fortunately something I have repaired over several generations.
    Mk4, Mk5 and on FIL's Touareg also. That was a bit more effort though.

    I've given up trying on the amarok ones. By the time you have soent a whole day fiddling it just ain't worth it from a business point of view. Maybe as a 'home fiddler' it is worth trying to fix them.

    Not only right hand locks, they all seem to be prone to issues...I have 3 of 4 currently working intermittently
