How do you wire a vehicle to power a trailers batteries. What must you do and how to keep it safe. Maybe pics. A pic is worth more than a 1000 words

Fused 12 V wire via the plug.
DC-DC charger installed at the battery, to charge.

That way you don't have to worry about voltage drops.

Fuse new 12V supply wire with 20A to plug engaging Pin#2 (trailer) on vehicle side, at source.

Wire feed from trailer pin to battery charger or connect directly to 12 Battery, but up-rate the fuse to 50A.

Recommend 25mm sq. power cable is used if running batteries in parallel on both ends.

Did not say, my trailer has a separate power cable with brad and harrison plug, must you use an intelligent solenoid?

No you donít have to. Does your trailer have a battery management system?

Take the power cables (16mm) from your main battery both + & - with a 60A fuse close to the main battery. The cables must end in BH plug close to your tow hitch where you plug your trailers BH plug in.

To get the best results I would suggest a DC-DC charger as close as possible to the trailerís battery. What about solar? 220V charger?
