Any chance of overriding the speed limit of 40km an hour on a wk2 in low range? Wish to raise it to 80km /hr

You just gave me an idea

I'd like to drop the cruise control speed down also.

But, in a WH 2005 CRD 3.0, in low range, at 60kmh, it's revving at 4000rpm. Couldn't do 80kmh in it. I don't know if you have the diesel WK2, but if you do, you may not want to hold 80 for long, unless the ratios are higher.

Downloaded an update to Jscan this afternoon, they have added a Trail display and a few other things I think.

    Hi

Does anyone know if one of these tools, pro or free version would be able to delete cats on a wk2 5.7 Hemi?

Not taking anything away from Jscan the Developer is doing a great job

    Thanks for the heads up
ALFAOBD came in very handy the other day, while trying to diagnose 'Service electric brake' and simultaneous 'Service 4wd system' dash messages.

I replaced all four wheel speed sensors and Jscan helped up to a point, but then wasn't showing much. Still getting the dash messages.

I went to ALFAOBD and it came up with something Jscan didn't. Made some adjustments, and all messages are gone and everything is working as intended.

I'm finding having a few program options is the way to go.

Fun stuff either way. You can go into your ecu/tcm amazingly deep now.

Thanks again to those in this thread

And a massive thanks to the app devs. I'd buy those people many many beers

Hi Rick, I have no idea, but would recommend that you contact the JScan guys and ask them. According to all reports they are great to work with and get back to you very quickly.

    Default Clearing codes JSCAN

If you ever have challenges cleaning codes with Jscan, as in they seem to be coming back, try going into the relevant module and cleaning there. This was recommended by the Jscan developer. It's ridiculous how good he is.

Wish you had posted this earlier .......took me awhile to figure out that I had to go into abs module to clear recurring fault code after changing tyre size...

Now to get to the bottom of why TPMS won’t reset after putting my set of “touring” tyres back on for upcoming trip to Nam. Tried all the usual tips but looks like I’ll just use jscan to disable “idiot” light on dash.

    Have a great day

Is it worth contacting Jscan about WJ 4.7 pcm software?

Someone else mentioned the WJ somewhere.

What's the best way to contact them?

I'd chip in some dough if it helped

I'll try that next time. Thanks.

Tried it this weekend and it's working perfectly on my Jeep and brother-in-laws 2011 JKUR 3.8.

My VGate icar OBD 2 Pro V4.0 for Bluetooth arrived two days ago. I use it with the JScan App.

If you own a Jeep and do not have this unit then you are seriously losing out.

Very impressive and a huge range of options and settings one can monitor/change.
