    Default Bluetooth communication headsets

I am in search of a decent helmet set, and need feedback from users.

I would like to know which headsets the members are using, and also their experiences on the various available products.

I am not riding two-up, but rather need it to comm with an other rider. And phone plus music naturally.

I bought a SENA SMH10, the dual box. Installed into 2 BMW system 5 and 6 helmets. Works very well with my wife and I irrespective of she pillions or rides on her own. Range is about 1km but Iím guessing. Also connects to the KTM so I can control music in my iPhone.

I initially wanted to buy the SMH5 FM but was told the radio doesnít work that wel especially in longer trips it doesnít stay on the station as the frequency changes slightly.

Also SHM10 dual set. Use mine daily on my commute for past 5 years, but have also used it on long trips.

Although you can connect up to 6 units at the same time, we had some trouble that one or two units may disconnect. 4 connected is more reliable.
But while connected, its great fun.

Me and my brother connect on our daily commute. Line of sight is around 900m I think. Works well to listen to music although you have to start your music player before you set off. And sometimes it gets interrupted and then the player stops which is a PITA, but that might be a phone problem.

When taking calls, quality is good and people are actually surprised to hear you are on the bike when taking calls.
