Default Fuel Consumption - 2.5 CRDi Sorento

So been driving around, town mostly, with me recently acquired 2008 KIA Sorento 2.5 Crdi with A/T transmission.

It seems a bit thirsty to me. What consumption are others getting with this model?

I have 225/75/16 " Goodyear AT's on which I bought it with, but I wanna replace them soon since they are more than 4 years old already. But that size proves to be elusive, and if I can get it they are seriously expensive, so i am thinking of getting 245/70/16 's which are much more common and cheaper, but not sure if I should get all terrains or HT's - not going to go offroading much with the KIA.

Love to hear real world experiences.

I have 245/70/16 on my newly acquired sorento and I am currently doing my first tank. I am exactly on a half tank and have done 475 km.

Behalwe nou as my fuel guage nie reg lees nie, maar hy sak noggal vinnig, 1/4 tank op 100 kilos min of meer, in die dorp meeste van die tyd, en ek gebruik baie die aircon.

    Joune ook automatic?

Is there any other issues or symtoms? I have warm start issue that is either the starter or leaking injector.

I went through the same problem were it would take for ever to start. I went through the motions of glow plugs, injectors etc. and at the end of the day I had poor compression.
I am not saying it is but just check it out bearing mind I have 2005 with 281000KM on the clock.

No start issues, starts first kick (after glowplugs warmed up) hot or cold engine. Runs smooth, makes a bit of oomph when turbo boosts from around 2000 rpm. I did notice it puffs a bit of black smoke when pulling off, and I use 50ppm fuel. 190k on the odo.

Yes that is the size I will put on when I change the old tyres, but they still have so much thread left but age is their issue and out of round a bit.
