I think I may have spotted JEEP4 CT today sometime between 12:30 and 12:45, also in Frans Conradie, more or less near Basil's PnP just below Bright's Hardware. I was driving towards Durban Rd and he in the opposite direction, so it was too far to recognise the driver or the plates - there was traffic around me, so I didn't want to cause an accident either! - but it was big and it was black, and splattered with mud all over, just like a bospadda should be...

Indidentally, I also saw a kitted-out rescue green JK Unlimited in front of Outdoor Warehouse later in the afternoon with a Frontrunner roof rack fitted to the hard top, so it seems like they don't have problems doing that now, in case anybody was still wondering...

Funny you should mention it - he did seem to take the corner at quite a turn of speed! Maybe it's just the WJ's excellent quadra drive system that encourages such driving

Oh yes, and I spotted the spotter himself (Stadler) at Tygervally today.

My friend is in the motor trade, he currently has a 2002 Nissan Hardbody 3.0 TD D/C 4x4 with Cooper tyres and +- 225000km's on the clock. The vehicle has a forum badge on the back. Cape Town area. Who's vehicle was it? Another friend is looking to buy it and would just like to know the backgound on the vehicle, was it sold for a reoson or just traded in for a new one?

Gorman, it's just the torque of the V8, together with disconnected front swaybar, that makes it lean over like that during left turns. It redefines the term "body roll" - in similar fashion to the Citroen 2CV and Renault 4. Scraping door handles on the tarmac FTW.

You should see the faces of the hot hatch brigade when the WJ leaves them behind at robots, leaning over to the right like a drunken sailor.

Saw Bundubus driving his white Pajero on the N1 inbound on Tygerberg.
He must have thought I was a roadrager king him out because he quickly changed to the left lane

That sounds like Biggles's XJ. It's either his wife driving it or he is back from Mauritania for a bit of holiday in SA.
