    Congrats on your leopard sighting!

It's amazing how Kgalagadi always keeps the best for last....
Game sightings can be stunning in the Park when temperatures are 40+.
One Leopard seventeen Lions and eight Cheetah qualifies as a very good trip!

Thanks for the entertaining trip report.

    Brilliant report.

We were in the park during the same period, saw your setup at Twee Rivieren, looked comfy.

The American obviously does not believe in momentum. We made it fine to Bitterpan in our Jimny. But we had to seriously attack some of those dunes as they are badly spun out.

I have been planning and dreaming about a road trip into the Kgalagadi Game Reserve for a couple of years, and perhaps 2020/21 will be the year.
Your well written road trip helps to inspire.

Any advice on what gears to use in a Jimny when attacking the dunes?

2 H, if it is a really long one, you will need a quick shift to 1 H.

    Tyre pressure?

Upington car hire companies are now hiring Jimny's for Kgalagadi hence the number of tourist drivers.

In September last yesr I helped one offshore tourist with his correct tyre pressure. The usual problem!

I believe the trailers have really destroyed parts of the Bitterfontein road.

Few people seem to be seeing them nowadays not sure why.
You were lucky with your Brownie.
