Default Gen 4 LWB tyre pressures - General Grabbers

The Grabbers AT2's on the Pajero have worn rather unevenly and I suspect from the looks of it, to be underinflation as the shoulders are worse than the centre part. Car was run at 2bar empty and 2.5 when loaded all round.

The new set looks like will have to be run at 2.5bar to not have to replace prematurely like these.

I have exactly the same problem with exactly the same tyres. Have increased my tyre pressure to see if there is a difference but too soon to tell. (On the Hilux)
If Force is not the solution, not enough of it was applied....

I have the AT3's and have done around 15K kms now with no signs of uneven wear at all. Running mostly at 2.2 bar empty and 2.5 bar loaded.

Yeah I did the same but it was too late.

I recently fitted a set of AT3's on the Triton and those I might run at less than 2.5 bar as it is lighter than the Pajero. Interesting though is the difference between the BFG AT's and the Grabbers- I've only had BF's the last 10 years or so and have always used them at 2 bar all round, the Triton got very jittery at 2.5 bar with the BF's, yet the Grabbers are fine. Guess it shows the casing on the Grabber is softer, absorbing more bumps and therefore the need for higher pressures.
