Thank you Gavin for the vids.
It looks as though we are moving quite fast until you look at the stats on the lower border !!!
    10 - 18 kph.

Its amazing how things look so tame on pics / video compared to the actual situation. The 2D view kind of levels things out.

I have pics of an amazing trip Erica and I did in Zimbabwe many years back - serious off-road riverbed rocks stuff and on the pics it looks quite innocent.
What you dont see is the speed: 1st gear low range and maybe 2 - 5 kph.
That is why you have to actually GO TO these places and experience first hand.

This particular trip was scenic and mild from an off road aspect but greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

Hope to see you all again soon.

Glad to see that everyone had a good time .In my youthful days i did contract work for RBM at their dredges and bought a 4x4 to drive in the loose sand .The staff of RBM laughed at me because they all drove Hi-Lux bakkies 4x2 and man could they drive in those dunes .

I had to do a quote for some work in the dredgers many years back in 2001. I drove my then Opel Monza down all the way to the entrance (pontoon walkways) next to the wet plant. I decided to deflate for the dune back up which was hairy but with a bit of momentum I happily made it to the top, first go.

Only later did I learn I needed a "dune driving permit" for the area where I was. No wonder I got some funny looks...

Genade, did I have to search and search to get the proper spelling of Nyoganani...

Not that it helps at all - the spelling just does not exist on the internet - this is the start!
