Peter, if you can bring the banner with please. I forgot to give the poles to Graeme so those are still with me.

Riaan - also keen to perhaps join in on the Saturday, dependent on schedules closer to the time.

What time would we need to be in Richards Bay?

All good - I will bring it along - if you forget the poles we can most likely make a plan somehow anyway.

Riaan as I will be out the lodge as of 01/02/2019 it would have been great to join you for the first time but my retirement is not kicking off very well as I broke my hip on new years day. Docs are giving me 10 weeks for recovery. Maybe next time.
As interest point my son Ernest (Inkayamba on the forum) has taken over the lodge from me. I will still be staying in my house next to the lodge.

After a discussion or two with Danie and Marais, we decided to scrap the option for extra "play time" during the route. The area with the bigger dunes is a bit removed from the main route, would require the convoy to split and have someone there with the separate group, something we would rather not do.

In any case, Danie our head prefect for the day is confident that the route we will use has all one can want for in a complete experience in coastal sand driving, including uphill cross axles in sand.

Please be aware that alcohol on the route will not be allowed - leave the beers at the camp to stew and be nice and cold when we get back

    Hi Travis

I have only reserved space in the area where we will be camping, booking and payments you do directly with Michelle at reception please.
The reserved area is under 4x4 Community Forum in "F" Block, so she will know what to do and slot you in.

Will be seeing her tomorrow ( we are camping there for the night) and will remind her to be on the listen for the forum members booking.

We are looking forward to the GTG by the way, it is awesome that more and new people want to come along!

    OP edited with payment details.

Riaan as things are going at present you might have to make an off road trip via Bay hospital as I am back here with infection and they say could be for a long time.
