Post Windhoek to Pont Drift in Botswana

We’re planning this trip for Sept 19 and have 11 nights. Outline itinerary is Etosha, Khaudum National Park, Seronga, Linyanti, Savuti and across to the A33 and Nata, Francistown and on to Pont Drift.

Can anyone tell us what the Seronga - Linyanti - Savuti section is likely to be like in Sept? Is this a doable trip in the time we’ve got?

    Many thanks.

That particular section of your plan (Seronga - Linyanti - Savuti) is not usually open for safari visits.
It is a transit road used by army vehicles and part of it might be difficult to drive. It goes through former hunting concessions, today some lodges have been converted.

I would NOT recommend that route as you can easily lose some days in digging around.
Although an official transit route, it crosses a few waterways which cannot be judged from afar.

I went as far as Gudigwa a few months back (yes it was September), until there no problems with navigation, but from the village onwards it is an entire different story.
