    Digital injection lead the way, I think this is awesome.

    I don't think we've seen the end of the internal combustion engine. Whether hydrogen or hydrocarbons, there is still a lot of scope.

    I don't think this is a sprint. They are not the first to have the idea of individually controlled valves. There are hydraulic implementations that have had fantastic results but they could not get the valves to last. The theory is all there... it looks like it's down to who can actually implement a reliable working model...

    Maybe I missed something... I don't see a working prototype yet...

    When I did my apprenticeship in the 80's a number of technologies were "prototypes" only .... "not practical", "not reliable", yada yada ....


    Today these are the NORM in our industry !!!


    Improved manufacturing, better materials, better lubrication, and the revolution in controls has made a LOT of things possible and practical .... and a lot more being added each year !

    Looks like the freevalve system has a much lower profile. But the more suppliers that can present alternatives, all the better.
