    Default Subletting Business Space

    Morning

Does anyone sublet space within their retail store?

If so do you take a straight rental per square meter? Do you take a cut on turnover which will be a nightmare to manage?

Our landlord has given us the go ahead to sublet as we have around 30 Square meters of dead space after moving out some machinery. The mall is one of the busiest in the country.

Would love any thoughts, ideas or lessons learnt.

    Cheers

We used to sublet a part of our warehouse at an agreed upon R/Square meter rate - Biggest challenge was Electricity consumption (Big consumer) as no new meter was installed at first.
Waste - Make sure both parties knows all responsibilities towards own waste

Just make sure both parties are on the same page, then it shouldn't be a problem/.....
