    Oom Fluffy, this is the new GW. Yes, it has IFS Jelo.

    The old one (up to 201 had solids Oom Fluffy.

    Obviously I knew that. As Jelo said, I am full of it, if so I am claiming that I know a hell of a lot more about 4x4 configurations than 90% of the people on this forum. If the shoe fits, wear it

    As for it being the New GW. Well that is exactly the whole point. This thread is what we would like to see in the future.

    Getting back to the OP

    On road I will take all the technology and aids I can get

    Off road I would prefer all mechanical and none of the electronic namby pamby stuff except ABS

    ABS is a contentious topic when offroad. I used to pull the fuse of my Colt after a couple of guys I know had vehicles run away on trails.

    For the daily drive I prefer to have a car with some nannyís in it, As off today swambo and I both have Volvoís again.

    For the 4x4 I have an old school Wrangler TJ with no nannyís and we donít have trails nearby that can really test its capabilities.

    I donít see the fun in having a computer program doing the small things like just the right line, small turn of the steering or blip of the loud pedal that get you out of an obstacle for me.
