    Default Got rid of the Firestone Destination AT's on my Mahindra

    From initially being very happy with the Firestone Destination AT tyres I fitted to my vehicle I have now replaced them after only 32 000KM, here is why:

    For the last 7000KM odd there have been continuous issues with balancing. In total the set of tyres were balanced 8 times from around the 25 000KM usage mark. It doesn't matter what was done, including rotating and swapping tyres too, there was always a speed range within which the vehicle would start vibrating.

    I had the vehicle at three different shops as well to minimize the chance of equipment/ operator error on the balancing machines but to no avail. At the end of the day it seems the tyres went out of round which is a great pity because as far as performance goes the tyres never disappointed on any surface and looked like they would give good mileage.
