    Default Defender Td5 breather

    Howzit guys

I've tried searching the forum without luck...

The breather pipe on my Td5 is showing signs of age and needs to be replaced.
Can I replace this with a normal high pressure hose, or must it be genuine/Britpart etc.

The hose I'm looking to replace is number 12.

A normal hose will be fine but then you have a problem because the cover will not fit properly, the straight, new hose will not bend the correct way to suite the cover.

I'd rather go to a hydraulic shop and get hose that is impervious to hydrocarbons........
