Magnificent drive from Leclerc, another mistake from Vettel.

Looks like it's going to be a cracker of a race Tomorow...

    YES YES YES!!!
    Unbelievable, unpredictable.
There is a new 2nd half to this season... long live F1 racing!
Tomorrow is going to be epic. Lewis is eager to get stuck into Leclerc and that should scare every Ferrari fan

    Just love Toto's summary:

They gain a tenth on the straights, but they are also very fast in the corners, they are faster every where.

I had stopped watching FI as it was always the dominant team that took over looked today and it seems some competition for the mercedes , I watch motor GP and that is also one way , but due to the great Marc Marcus , dam he is brilliant but always wins

No he didnít make any mistakes, just didnít perform well enough, like he did before the last run and had to abandoned it. Could have been on pole today. Anyho, It is going to be an interesting race tomorrow..

Ricciardo has been excluded from qualifying due to having exceedsd the power limit of his MGU-K, he'll start at the back of the grid.

A real shame, he was looking good for a solid finish tomorrow.

Looking at the comparitive on boards of Lewis and Charles' laps. That lap from Charles was epic, a way better performance than the previous two GPs. Neither him or Vettel had any right for pole today. The Merc is just better around this track, it will be a massive performance to stay ahead of Lewis today. With every race I am becoming a bigger Lec fan boy. That q3 lap was almost Senna like in how he fought the car the entire lap to get the most out of it.
The fact that the Ferrari was in the fight on this track bodes well for the rest of this season.
If only Charles didn't crash in Germany and Baku and the Ferrari didn't give up in Bahrain and he knew what the "new rules" were in Austria ...... ifs and buts

I have just clicked over to the Sky F1 feed, its a whole channel on F1. It makes the whole F1 experience so different. See stuff that you just don't see on DSTV. We are so prescribed in SA. other people deciding what we like or don't like.

Problem with Leclerc's car before the warm up lap, something to do with telemetry. Hope it's sorted and doesn't affect the race (his seat was taken out to access the telemetry unit)

    Quote from uncle Google...

"Since 2008, every race edition has featured at least one safety car, a total of 18 safety car deployments, as of 2018."

Lets hope the safety car stays in today.

Good to see an Alfa Romeo leading a GP for a brief period.

Well Vettel wins. I have a strong feeling Leclerc was "robbed".

No Mercedes on the podium. Must be a 1st for a long time.

Would not like to be in the Ferrari garage tonight. Leclerc is going to blow more than 1 gasket.
