    Default Hennops with the GV

Had an epic time at Hennops. Went for a solo trip with the family. haven't been here since I was a little kid. I remember the dongas being deeper than I was tall

My Jimny is a 2013 model, bought as a day runner, it was not long then I started modifying it, standard its boring, dangerous and impractical. Over the last 40 months, it slowly but surely evolved. It is truly a mini over lander, kitted with a full drawer system, Lithium battery, winch, ect.
The most radical modification was fitting a M1.8A engine, 3inch lift, 31" tires. Recently while being part of the REBEL 4x4 series, I fitted Maxxis M/T tires, and it resulted in a shattered rear diff. Next conversion, bought two D4D axles boing extreme.

    Hello,

Glad to be back, platkar blues are about to be something of the past.

Awaiting collection, Jimny, Granite grey, GL 5dr, 2024 demo. Will post photos when I actually get her.

My first Suzuki, so hoping you will all will welcome me back into the fold...

Platkar, Dit krap waar dit nie juk nie, en juk waar dit nie krap nie. (Toyota Quest was way too low for South African roads, itched to get rid of it. Will miss the speed...)

Tow bar, nerf bar, rock sliders, tinted windows, roof rack, ladder, window weather strips and demo stickers galore.

That little bonnet protector is a very good idea. My wife's Jimny had chips there within a week.

So here she is, "Little-4by4" brings justice to original username from so many years ago...

Went to Jeffery's bay today, Suzuki have not disappointed...

Got thumbs up from bikers, and plenty friendly gestures from fellow road users. Some I think were surprised at her performance not knowing my lead filled right foot.

    Suzuki should pay me royalties.

I think PE traffic dept will want a few, and a few few of the bigger 4x4's will rather want to forget today, LOL some bloke in a Disco was offended with her overtaking him on N2. Will post later again with before and after wheel spacer fitment. Will keep her mostly standard. (Well that what I tell the missus....Hehe) She knows better after nearly 3 decades of marriage.

5 years of platkar blues is over - officially back and hoping to follow all of your interesting Jimny antics.
    Best wishes and safe journeys.

That windscreen shade is also a great add, wish I did that. My first long trip landed us a chip in the top-left of the windscreen.

So guess that's my first causality, will do the same when I need to replace.

Really love your Jimbo's look - Best wishes. congrats, and many miles of fun for you.
