    Same principle design of the closing mechanism and very much the same seal design. I think our one is older. It is Tedelex. They were sold under different names.

    The seals are still available at Hirsch's in Durban ...mine is a Pineware and had to get a new seal which is slightly different do it does not seal 100%.. old seal is very hard...got gatvol playing with it and bought the new electric one They are really outstanding and all the functions they offer really make them so easy to use... But I would definitely try a new seal before tossing it
