    Just FYI, the Harpactira genus, as with most baboon spiders, is protected by the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act...

    It means you are not allowed to keep, trade or kill it without a permit. Most baboon spider species are under pressure from habitat destruction or the illicit pet trade, so every spider not killed is a contribution to their continued survival. Honestly don't understand why one would just wantonly kill a harmless spider anyway, empty ice cream tub goes a long way to assist in catching it and relocating the animal
