Default Replace or keep tires, dunlop

Replace now or keep another 10 000km? Cracks in the rubber is a concern. These have 120000km on them.

At 120k km, you've had the use out of them, I'd replace.

OT, but I would also replace with a softer tyre. That must have been 120 000 very noisy, very hard ridden kilometres..

100 k km too much for a dunlop. If only on tar , you can take a chance.

Yes hard and with some shake, but not having to pay for tires for that long is nice on the wallet.

    Are you Coo Coo.

120K km and a disintegrating tyre and you are asking if you should keep it or replace it.

Look at the tyre tread and look for your tyre wear marker.

Its usually inline with a arrow marker on the side wall of the tyre

you should find 1 or 2 markers in the tread groves . In the pic you can see 2 different markers the one one the right hand is the recommended changing marker at 3mm tread left for safety reasons in wet driving and then the one on the left is the bare minimum of 1,6mm which is the legal limit of the law. If your tyre tread is flush with that marker replace asap as a accident with unroadworthy tyres is grounds for your insurance to decline any claims.

And that wont go to well with your wallet

    Leon,
