Default Going Mirrorless- Selling Canon Kit

I am Currently not using my Canon 5Dmk3 mostly because it is too big for my requirements. So I use my phone [yes I know]

Im stuck on the Fuji xt3 and probably only because they seem to produce the best mirrorless currently. I want it all the time with me and I find the risk of the big bag is too high so my camera is permanently in the safe.

Mut I see there is huge colluding with the prices, everyone charges the same.

Anyway my kit is as good as new.

All canon products. I have prices I think is fair. Someone in the know can maybe help me if its too high or low.

I am not desperate to sell but quite willing to do a decent price with a think tank bag if everything go together.

Is Sony now back in SA or is it grey imports?

From what I understand Sony camera products are officially back in Sa, it may possibly only be the pro and prosumer gear.

Take a close look at Fujifilm. The XT3 is a fantastic piece of kit.

Also considering one of your recent posts, it may not be a bad idea to have a look at what underwater housings are available for the shortlist.

My Canon G16 is a great little camera with loads of underwater functionality, housings are freely available which to me makes it a good all rounder and a camera I can lug around easily.

Second hand market is very flat at the moment - I sold recently some Canon gear as I have switched over to Fuji - I had an x-E2 as a travel camera, have now bought an X-H1 as well. Same reason, absolutely nothing wrong with Canon, they make superb gear, but much bulkier and heavier than mirrorless. For example I eventually took R 6.5K for my 24-105 f4L and R 1.8K for a 1.4x mkII extender.

Consider this option - I have bought a Fringer pro smart adapter, puts EOS lenses onto a Fuji body with full autofocus, IS and automatic stopping down. It works very well and is not awfully expensive ( US$ 299 + $ 25 shipping). I bought it directly from Fringer - https://www.fringeradapter.com/ . I have kept all my nice Canon prime lenses and use them very happily on my Fuji bodies.

2hnd XT2's are another option that are getting sold cheap due to everyone upgrading and still an awesome body.

Sell everything and get a good bridge camera.

Getting rid if the 5D and adding a Mirroless plus lens adapter saves how much space in reality, if the rest stays.

Most of the accessories wont fit anyway.

That’s fine. Irrelevant to Engels question.

Have you had that discussion with Leica SL owners ? Or indeed spent time with lowly A7 owners.

Fuji Lenses are excellent and I have a nice selection - but Fuji don't offer for example 85mm f1.8, 135mm f2, 200mm f2.8 etc. Also I can use my Canon 100-400 instead of selling it and buying the better but very expensive Fuji 100-400 - hence the Fringer adapter works very well for me

So then on what basis do you justify your comment about no mirrorless will ever touch your 850 for image quality?
