Well done. At least it was only glued down on the edges.

I just cannot get over how that stuff held right up to the last cm.

Right now I see a prototype protective cover being developed. What say yee - a windproof padded canvas cover with zips or some other design?

I went back and read the article again and see now they are referring to semi flexible panels. Oh well, maybe I will make a protective cover anyway.

Yes, I was not keen to hijack your thread but TRONís comment did the trick.

Fishing line and piano wire were mentioned. If one can't get piano wire, get fishing trace wire, which is easy to get - works very well.

7 years of sun, rain and pollution had turned that "stuff" into a hard dry compound. Was also in a recess making more difficult. Was on my own, the wire trick works better with two people. Sharp thin kitchen utility knife, getting right up to it so as to get power behind knife, working small little sections at a time. Once off, cleaning the roof and panel I can see how hard that stuff got. Now to fit the new panels.
    Thanks again every one.

Lusted for a Landy but the Pajero was sexier and bigger in the right departments, just like my Missus.

Do not, DO NOT use Sikaflex for anything you may wish to remove again. It is an excellent sealing product and the reason it is 4 times the price of normal hardware type silicone is that it is 4 times stronger and lasts forever! Great for sealing joints and rivets though, and for that PERMANENT job!

I had a Satfi satellite dome removed, but could not remove the feet. I am not sure if the Debond would work in these circumstances as oneen of the feet covers about 20 square centimetres and there are 4 of them?
