    Default 4.5 Patrol Fuelling woes

Installed long range tank through LA Sport in PE. Big mistake! Serious fuelling problems and erratic running. Took it to SAC. Still not sorted.

    Any ideas?

Call their head office in Pta and demand to speak to Lionel (the owner). I'm sure he'll get them sorted.

Did your Patrol not come with a second or sub tank as standard equipment.

If so, where did you find space for a further tank?

If not, what year model is it?

I am asking because with a 135L capacity (90L main, 45L sub), the current 4.8 Patrol only has a range of about 600km, leaving a small safety margin, under ideal onroad conditions.

I have not enquired yet, but I simply do not see space for a further tank.

It would be nice if one could improve the range to about 800 to a 1000km.

Let us know how and where the tank was fitted, and what the problems are, maybe a solution pops up.

Hi Wynvat, as jy ander tenk soek vir jou patrol - Northern offroad in Strijdom Park, hulle maak 'n 140l ene wat die 95 liter een vervang, gee jou dan so 900km range afhangende van hoe jy ry.

    cheers

    Hallo Rian

    Ek is bang daarvoor....

Dan gooi ek so 134/5 liter in.

Die manne by Northern Ofroad gee puik diens!! Ek kan hulle beslis aanbeveel.

    Cheers

    Rian
