    Hi Folks,

    Just a few updates; I'm still adding campsites as they come in on the submission form or in this thread. Latest are; Camp skeurklip and Riverbend. I'll add Klipdas Boskamp and Mapesu shortly.

    I'm also attaching video reviews to campsites on the map as I visit them (at least one every other week).
    I just spent a lovely couple days at Bendito ranch, can highly recommend it;

    Was also at Mabalingwe's 4x4 camp two weeks ago;

    Where should I go next??

    Good day all, but especially to the KZN 'kenners'!

    We need to try up the tally of worthy spots in this magic province of ours. Have personally been to the Bonamanzi private sites many times and can definitely vouch for that one. Booked no 17. for Easter weekend earlier this week - couldn't believe it was still available!

    Then there's also a really lekker 'bush-meets-river' setup to be found at Highover on the Umkomaas river (Hela Hela/Richmond) - use to be a favourite of ours. Community run these days and sadly there are signs creeping in of poor 'caretakership'. Maybe someone has had some recent experience there?

    https://www.highover.co.za/accommodation.htm (would say blue, ie Rustic Camp)

    Then some others to consider for the growing list - albeit no personal experience:

    Bivane Dam (near Vryheid) - Bush Camps http://www.bivanedam.co.za/accommoda...ush-campsites/

    Somkhanda (near Pongola) - Scotia Camp http://www.africaninsightacademy.co....tia-camp-site/

    Again, hoping others that have been to these places would motivate and perhaps share their experiences at these spots!

    Great thread this! Mooi Christoff!

    Stayed at Schoemanshof bush camp Saturday to Sunday, really enjoyed it by the river.only think that might be an issue is the amount of flies during the day which I think is due to the cows. Either than that, ablutions nice and clean, no noise and awesome river view

    We Do Bonamanzi most new years. A really great place, the only way to get site 17 generally is pay your deposit and book a year in advance.. It was really starting to look tired... Pleasantly supprized with some of the improvements this year...
    Highover needs a revisit, was taken over with a land claim, seems like they have come to the is senses and realized it's a good business... Another birding paradise...

    This is what I have so far, I would greatly appreciate suggestions (or corrections if some of these aren't that great). I will edit as we go.
