Default Need a welder in Cape Town to work on trailer

I am heading through Namibia next month and then
on to Tanzania and have been told any trailer
should be strengthened with gussets and
reinforcemts to stop frame failure . This oven of
trailer is new . Can anyone recommend a
professional welder who will do a sympathetic job to a new trailer
    in Cape Town please .
    thank you

    What type of trailer?
What type of roads. Asphalt, gravel, offroad, 4x4?
    What needs to be strengthened?
    Load?
    Route?
    Time schedule?

    Pieterk
Thank you for replying .a conqueror Comfort . Travelling off road mainly
and up to Van Zyls pass . Then on to Serengeti
where im told that roads have pushed trailers beyond their limit
Am told it is wise to strengthen the A frame and
generally reinforce . Iím no expert here at all
so wanted to hire someone who is and could do
what they felt was necessary before I leave mid November .
    no big load . Camping gear 150 l water . 40 l extra fuel
along with the food and kit for just two of us .

for WELDING - GOMAD will surely assist you - http://gomad4x4.co.za/

That said, I would rather stop at the dealership - http://www.conqueror-cpt.co.za/

Get them to do an inspection of the trailer. These were MADE for these trips .... so if the trailer is in good condition extra welding really should not be needed ...

Hope some of these trailer owners will add in their experiences.

Chris is correct. Those trailers are purpose built. Fuel is available throughout Namibia and RSA. Unless driving far off the beaten path? Extra fuel will not be necessary. Fuel will also be cheaper outside RSA. All the towns have some sort of chainstore for consumables. Relax and enjoy your trip.
