    Cool Diagnostic tester

Hey guys, forgive me if this topic has been discussed before, couldn't find what I was looking for when I did a search.I'm looking to buy a diagnostic tester for my D3, just to check the basics every now and then. I want to avoid spending thousands on something that can read all makes and models + make you your morning cup of coffee. There's a lot on the WWW for cheap , no doubt from china, anyone had a GOOD experience with one?Cheers.

I second this tool if all you really want to do is clear faults... if you want a little more then perhaps keep an eye out on some of the auctions sites for a second hand IIDtool. Best $$$ you can spend on your landy

A lot of threads in various forums talk about reading and resetting faults.
Just remember to fix the fault before resetting !!

Duncan, with the ELM 327 what software/app are you running? I'm looking for something that can do cylinder balance test to look at injectors. Have you got this capability on yours? Thanks,

i930 does this, as well as quite a few live data streams.

IID Tool, Probably best bang for your buck....I wasted money on a number of limited tools just to realise that once you find a fault, one cannot simply clear it, it comes back, you need to fix the fault and a good diag tool can help you do that. . Just buy a good unit as it probably pays for itself withing 6 months....

GAP Diagnostics...IIDTOOL. There are a number of members here with this tool. Also look a how many guys use it in the UK...
Great Backup support all the way from Canada, no issues...
MikeBOB here also uses it in his business.
