Hello everybody,

we're a family of seven (two kids, and a senior) planning to drive from Lusaka to Kafue National Park on the M9, spend a couple of days in the area and then heading South to Livingstone on M769 or other - end of December 2018.

We'll rent a Trailblazer 7 seaters from Voyagers Zambia/Europcar. I've driven 4X4 in the past (mostly in very cold countries), although I wouldn't define myself an experienced 4X4 driver - especially in Africa.

I've read that the M769 is not an easy road for many stretches, so I was wondering what is actually feasible in that season.

Are there warning and particular recommendations?

What are the best places to stop and to break a 3/4-days journey?

Thanks in advance for the much needed suggestions! AC
