You have to tilt your phone until the man standing in the background is vertical to compensate for the camera angle.

Still, not bad on road tyres.

One at the front, two at the back. The one at the front is not exposed unless you order under shield protection. Similarly the 2 at the back are not exposed in the standard config, but you can order the recovery loops as a separate part.

If you look carefully and zoom in, you'll see we did not recover on the towball, but rather on the recovery point pin below it.
Looks similar to the one in the attached pic

Yes the Sahara Defender kicked some Rubicon ass ;-)

    Wait..
There is a new Discovery ? Clearly the new defender has taken too much spotlight.

Has the skewed and ugly rear end been fixed?

    What could possibly go wrong?

I am thinking a LR computer is a pretty unpredictable creature at best of times...now let's try and confuse it further...

LOL, people have been running lift rods since the D3 came out.

Do those rods not affect stability of the car and longevity of other suspension parts.

I think what many people don't realise, is that this is one of those cars that just doesn't look the same in real life as it does in pictures. Sort of like in the same way it so difficult to judge an aeroplanes size , if its standing alone.
(I mean who would have thought that a 737 which is a pretty big aeroplane, has a fuselage that fits into the outer engine cowl of a 777 , yet remarkably, it does.)

So in the same way, when you see the new Defender, you realise how big it is and what presence it has.

To try get some perspective, I happened to see an old Defender with an open parking spot next to it, so I took some pics side by side....
Now remember, the old Defender was no small car. It's big in its own right and the bonnet sits pretty high from the ground. But see in the pic how high the new Defenders bonnet sits. I think this should give some, who haven't seen it yet, a better idea of it...

    Thanks.
If my wallet allowed, I would get the P400 HSE in Santorini Black.

There have been some shots before of the two side by side, and all showed the old standing taller then the new. Perhaps this shot had the new defender in off-road height?

nice pics, last one looks like the new defender is leaning to the left, maybe a suspension leak....??
