Nice. I've been wondering about those tail lights..... are they something special? Look like a bit of a hack, the way there are two sets. Whats up with that?

Nope - they are correct. Only abnormality is the tinted front windows.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I know that's the way they all are. I'm just saying that its one part of the design that seems tacked-on and not properly resolved.

The tail lights are awesome tbh. The two little outside ones are the indicators. My only concern is that dust may gather in them although that wonít affect their performance due to their design

I watched one of the Namibia launch videos and was surprised to see that they still worked well after the rear was covered in dust and muck. Maybe the concave design helps to prevent dust settling, similar to the Mercedes lights of the 70's and 80's that were designed in a specific way to still be visible in dusty environments.

Yes I noticed that also. I think because the illuminated parts donít catch the dust even if there is dust on the inside bits

In white, with steel wheels and without all the add on clutter, it actually looks pretty acceptable!

This is the first time the white steel rims look ok for me, matching the white body. I still don't like white vehicles - probably because 99% of all bakkies and many cars in our area are white. If I was to get a new Defender with steel rims, i would definitely colour code them or paint them in a matching colour.
