Default Suggestions for mounting panel on trailer

    Hi all

Please may I have some suggestions for mounting a panel onto my Bundutop. The Bundu has a rigid edge on the roof and a soft aluminum skin in the middle. Dimensions of the panel are 1100 mm and the Bundutop is 1350 mm so I need to use some kind of support to bridge to the rigid edges

Build a frame out of aluminium profiles, that will fit onto the rigid edge.
Fit the solar panel to the frame.

Riv-Nuts might work for the edge, provided you seal it properly with silicon.

    I went onto google!

In one case the angle looks riveted on, in the other they probably glued on using Sikaflex.

Heavy duty velcro, 50mm wide, cut to fit the bottom width of the panel frame. I have been using it for years and never did it fail on me.
