    Default New Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain plus

    Anybody running these yet? Dealer showed me one yesterday, they look amazing, but the compound feels a bit soft so I am sceptical how long they will last...

    Going to need a new set of tyres soon and have added these to short list along with Hankook Dynapros, Goodyear Adventures and General Grabbers, so any feedback is very much welome.

    The best tyres I have ever had.. explain "soft" tyres
    My view ... Soft = flexible
    Hard = Brittle
    No one has answered when I have asked what soft is.
    Very well priced and comfortable.have them on my Triton... Done from Durban,. Since July 2017 Kgalagadi.,Augrabies, Wild Coast (at least 15 trips) Kruger , Mozambique and they still look excellent ,drive them every day ,

    They're excellent - I have them on my Panda Cross and they're quiet on tar and very grippy on gravel.

    When I say soft I mean just that, the knobs are very easily pushed around and twist them, and you can dig your nail into them. In theory, they will have excellent grip, but wont last all that long.

    Are you sure you have the AT + and not the ATR though? As far as I am aware they were only released in March this year.

    On my D3 on the previous Pirellis I had a marble sized stone pushed through the tread/casing.

    Got about 60k km's on a set.

    I have them on my Disco XS...only done 2000k so far, all on tar, so can't comment on offroad traction etc. They are excellent on tar-great traction &quiet. My brother has Hankooks on his Prado-also very happy with them. Not much in it as far as I can see....
