Does anybody know if something is going on with Howling Moon? Just been told by safari centre HM not producing in the moment and seems like the website is down?

Also no response from campworld on a price for a list of equipment that would be around R30k, HM stargazer with annex, awning, lapa poles, covers, etc.

Thanks, I hope somebody buys the howling moon brand and maintain the quality. Only need it for in ten months time but might have to start look for a fairly new once used second hand one...

Last update I had was howling moon will start producing soon again but under a different name. Something like Wild Pack. This was from the official importers into UK. Sounds like howling moon name was sold with Jurgens. Same factory.

I must say that I will be very happy if they have managed to survive.

We have had our HM RTT for over 10 years now. Bought new - expensive yes, but worth every cent
It has been used extensively in all kinds of conditions and apart from animal (baboon, mainly) damage - we have had NO problems with the product at all.
We have been in sever thunderstorms and very strong winds and torrential downpours - totally dry and "A OK" inside.

A small criticism would be (as with most other tents!) that another mm or two added onto the bag / cover size in each dimension would make world of difference when packing up / closing.
    AND
A minor modification needed to the base of the RTT to prevent water ingress when folding back DURING said torrential downpour(s)!!

If available, I would not use any other.

Anyone know if they're represented in KZN at all?
