Default Tyre pressure for even wear 265/75r16

I have cooper st maxx tyres on my prado 90 which I have been running at 2.6 bar
and noticed that the centre of my tyres are wearing much faster than the outside.
Have now dropped my tyre pressure to 2.4

Wondering what tyre pressure everyone is running to get even wear?

I'm running my 265/75/R16 ST Maxx at 2.3 for normal day to day on Ford Wildtrak.

    Wear is even across.

J have customers that complain about the st maxx on wear and balancing. You need like 200g wheelweights to balance some tires. Pressure/ size/ vehicle weight all influences tire pressure

You could also do the chalk test with some spray paint if you wanted a slightly longer and perhaps more accurate test. Spray a line across the width of the tire tread and monitor its wear, perfect if you are driving a few kms somewhere, just check the wear on the line when you arrive and adjust the pressure accordingly.

Friend of mine with a Disco2 runs his (same size) on 1.9 bar! Great results, even wear, comfortable ride!

Edit: pardon, his are the STT Pro... not ST Maxx
