    Default Freelander 2 Cracked hose

So I think that I've been experiencing intermittent turbo boost loss when my freelander 2 (2007 hse 2.2 td4) reaches normal operating temperature. After a bit of internet searching I ended up cleaning the maf and map sensors (both dirty, esp the map) and then proceeded to check all the hoses I could find (I don't even know where to locate the turbo). I ended up finding a huge crack in the hose in the picture. I'm not sure if it goes all the way through but I would think it needs to be replaced.
Anyone know what hose this is and can I manage to replace it on my own (I can follow a youtube video, that's about the extent of my expertise) or would I need to take it to a mechanic?
    Thanks in advance.

I love Google and YouTube. Anyone else wondering what that hose is, it's the intercooler hose and supposedly easy to replace. We will see about that!

    Now to source the hose....

I replaced the same hose yesterday, bought it at Volkspares in Boksburg for R300.
Just had to cut it to size.
    It's 57mm diameter and 11.5cm long.
Took me about 30mins because the clamp screws are in a bad place to reach.

If you were not that far away you could have the spare piece I have.
They only had a larger one that I modified...

The 100vx also has a boost pipe with a latent defect. It cracks on a seam and looses boost.

I have a polyurithane mix that cures to the shore hardness of an engine mounting. We use it for suspention bushes.

Then I take bandage, drench it in this and wrap that pipe. No problem, ever again.
