Default Home CAD for free assistance.

I have recently started doing small wood work projects for people I work with, as a part time hobby, which has grown a lot.
It has now reached the stage that a piece of paper for drawing the idea or product, and coming to a price is not good anymore.
Has anyone got help on a user friendly but free drawing package available, for drawing and making up cutting sizes. I did a lot of work on AUTOCAD years ago, but it required a "dongle" to use.
    Any ideas are appreciated.

While on the subject: I need a decent 2D draughting / architects floorplan package. Should be able to handle basic structures as well as multiple floorplans on one image (house & garage & cottage for instance).

What type of woodwork are you doing. As in Kitchens and bedroom cupboards or solid wood bespoke furniture.

I can't say it enough, but Fusion is definitely one of the best out there. I would say it would be worth it to learn the 3D part then the 2D will be a walk in the park.

Just did this for my son... Did a quick design the one day, then I went and got actual sizes and just came back to edit my design and vola!
