    Default Jimny... not so cheap!

So I called my local Suzuki dealer to get a couple of prices on bits and bob for the Jimny.
Here is what I was quoted

    1. Little plastic clip that you clip the sun visor into R 198
    2. Pollen filter R761
    3. Roof rails (the ones that come standard on the car) R7695
    4. Plastic spare wheel "cover" / Housing R8490

And I thought these vehicles were supposed to cheap to buy and run

    Hi Johnna

Those spare wheel covers are an absolute rip off rather just get a canvass one. Swambos mother makes them for around R500 and then you can choose the embroidery.
For the roof rails maybe see if you can get them from someone who fitted a roof rack. I might even know of someone who will be able to make those out of nice steel pipe painted in automotive satin black and made to fit on the existing studs perfectly.

There appears to be a GUD filter equivalent for the pollen filter.
    Haven't bought one myself

AFAIK the Jimny does not have a pollen filter.

Yes, the GUD part number is AC161. I payed R395 for it at Naskar 2 weeks ago.

Yes thats what I thought. There was actually a guy who was selling his roof rack and offered to knock a few bob off if the buyer gave him his old roof rails, I wonder if he has any idea what they sell for!

I just had a look in my Jimny. It doesnt have a tray for the pollen filter anymore. Apparently the older ones did have a tray to have a filter fitted. Im just not sure when they stopped adding it
