Default Adhesive to Fix Rooftop Tent?

    Hi All,

Looking to repair my old Howling Moon RT pictured.

The Aluminium floor has broken away from the wood frame...what is the best glue / adhesive to use here?

    Thanks

I think you are lucky, remove the aluminium and replace the wooden sides, that is wood rot you are looking at and the reason why your outer skin came adrift. It might seem like a mission but that is the best way to rectify the problem.

The best way to get the alu back on is with Sika polyurethane sealer and small blue tack nails used in upholstery.

Limited to our Game here in Blantyre and best I could find is Pattex "No More Nails" Instant Tack. Says it works for Aluminium..

Or maybe use a staple "gun" with the Sika?

Will do the job well. Staple gun will take care of bruised digits
