    best time of year for those with telescopes
    no clouds and not too cold.
    venus,jupiter saturn and mars (order-west to east)

    visible with naked eye as well.

    Yes its been a good winter Mars was nice and close but for me not that spectacular as in 2003 , I believe there are lots of dust storms on Mars preventing good view
